My husband bought a used 2006 Yamaha VX 110 Deluxe with 4 hours on it - the ski was spotless. He put 26 hours on it in about a month. On the 23rd of June, we were involved in a five car pile up and it ended up on the street. (And no, it wasn't our fault.) It was absolutely sickening to see this beautiful ski sitting on the ground. The crank on the trailer is gone and there's a serious dent in the truck tailgate where the ski hit before it hit the ground. It took eight people to put the ski back on the trailer. For the impact it received, we expected way worse than what we saw. While the hull is cracked, there were no chunks of hull on the ground. My point is this - and I can't say it any more simply: it's a very well-built ski. I'm sure there are other nice skis on the market, but after seeing what we did, we won't own anything else because in our eyes, they just can't make them any better.
